About the event
Join us for the 1st Annual Scavenger Hunt, a lively event uniting our community in a shared pursuit of fun, compassion, and support. Embracing the theme "Harvesting Hope - Nourishing Our Community,"
The objective of this event is to raise awareness and funds in a community-engaging manner that supports both feeding programs and addiction recovery services. By bringing the community together for this cause, the scavenger hunt will highlight the interconnectedness of physical sustenance and mental health recovery, demonstrating that holistic approaches are crucial in building a healthier, more supportive community. This initiative seeks to generate resources that will directly aid in food provision and support services, promoting a cycle of health, wellness, and independence among the most vulnerable residents.
Purpose: The purpose of this collaborative scavenger hunt, organized by the Good Samaritan Center and the Never Alone Clubhouse, is to unite the community in supporting comprehensive wellness and sustenance. This event aims to foster a supportive network that not only addresses immediate needs like food insecurity but also promotes long-term solutions through recovery and empowerment for those battling substance use disorders.
