Fall Festival & 5K Run
Join us for the 8th Annual Hunter's Harvest Fall Festival and 5k Run on October 26, 2024, from 8 AM to 3 PM at Hunter Park! This fun-filled day will feature a variety of vendors from West Georgia and Metro Atlanta, plus a 5K Run in partnership with The Good Samaritan Center to support families facing food insecurity.
Bring the whole family—kids will love our FREE Kids Zone with inflatables and spooky Halloween activities (costumes encouraged!). You can also participate in the 5K Walk/Run/Roll for a $25 registration fee, which includes a t-shirt. Help us raise funds and collect canned goods for the Good Samaritan Center Food Pantry!
Vendor fees are $40 (without electricity) and $45 (with electricity; limited to 5 slots). Please note:
tables, chairs, and tents are not provided, and each vendor space is limited to 10x10 feet.

Food vendors must meet Douglas County Special Event food handling standards.

Established in 1984, The Good Samaritan Center of Douglas County is a Faith-based ministry dedicated to providing food/prescription medication, and emotional support to individuals and families in need.
Our mission: The Good Samaritan Center of Douglas County demonstrates the love and acceptance of Christ to individuals and families through encouragement, provision of food and other resources, and emotional and spiritual support while enabling them to maintain their dignity and self-respect.
Our overarching goal is to feed the community while promoting healthy eating through education, empowering individuals for lasting well-being. Through generous support, volunteerism, and a commitment to serving others, we strive to make a profound impact on our local community.
Since 1984, we've been blessed to share millions of pounds of food and goods, humbly serving those in need.
We provide services to families in West Georgia and beyond!
Our Mobile Pantry delivers 10-15 thousand pounds of food to 6 different communities each month.
